Where Winners Become Champions

Thousands of ICS cooks compete between October 2017 and September 2018 in hopes of qualifying for the 2018 World Championship Chili Cook-off (WCCC). The WCCC will be held at Gateway Motorsports Park in St. Louis, MO from September 28-30, 2018.

This three-day public event will include:
Champion chili tasting
Beer & wine
Food and retail vendors
Firehouse competition benefiting first responders
Car show
Cornhole tournament
Youth activities
Live music

Last Chance

It’s Not Too Late

Haven’t qualified to compete in the WCCC? It’s not too late! On September 28, ICS will host Last Chance Cook-offs for any category that qualified at least 25 cooks during the cooking season, and has a minimum of 25 cooks register for the Last Chance Cook-off in that category.


Last Chance registrations will be open on the website between September 1 and September 17. Entry fees for each Last Chance category along with a timeline of events will be announced then. Traditional Red and Homestyle winners of ONE Local Cook-off during the cooking season will earn a waived entry fee.

Becoming a Champ

The WCCC will determine CHAMPIONS in the following categories that have at least 25 cooks per category:
Traditional Red
Chili Verde
Youth Homestyle
Youth Traditional Red

These champions will earn combined prize money of over $100,000!
