Enjoy a variety of chili from the best chili cooks in the International Chili Society!  A fun filled day with something for everyone. Free admission, unlimited chili tasting with the purchase of a wristband - $20 for ages 10 and up, $10 for those under 10. Non-alcoholic drinks, beer/wine/hard cider available for purchase, free pie-eating contest, music, and an award ceremony. This event supports the Star Chamber of Commerce and Star Food Bank.

So come out and taste some chili, then vote for your favorite.

You must be an ICS Member to compete. Entry fees are separate per category (i.e. Red, Homestyle, Verde, etc.) and will be collected independently by the Cook-off Organizer. Please contact the organizer (info at top) for more information.

• Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs and supplies
• No electricity will be available and generators are NOT allowed

Max number per team - 5

There will be a flat registration fee of $25 where contestants pay just the one fee and can enter as many categories as they want - People’s Choice is required and all other categories are optional.

As the event gets close, they may remove any category that has less than 5 entries.

set up time 6:30am, cook start time 7am, serving time 11am, award ceremony 4pm, pre-team meeting October 1, teams select their booth location in order registration is received

ALL CONTESTANTS must prepare SEVEN gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC).

Please note that the # of gallons of PC is per cook, not per category.
