The Top Dawg Chili Cook Off, benefiting the Hays County Fire Chief Association, occurs with the 9th Annual Hays County Emergency Preparedness Fair. The Fair is free to all attendees - $20 for All You Can Taste beginning at 11am. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase and lots of vendors on site. A Silent Auction and Raffle will benefit the Blanco River Regional Recovery Team, who responds and assists residents.
The proceeds from the cook-off benefit the association, which helps fund firefighter training and equipment replacement. The cook-off is a fun and engaging way for residents to participate in the fair and support local fire services.
You must be an ICS Member to compete. Entry fees are separate per category (i.e. Red, Homestyle, Verde, etc.) and will be collected independently by the Cook-off Organizer. Please contact the organizer (info at top) for more information.
