Join us for a day of chili tasting. Cooks come from far and wide so they'll be lots of chili to sample and then vote for. General admission is $10 and includes 10 samples.

The Milton Town Recreation Department is throwing a party to welcome Summer 2026 at the Milton Town Beach. This year the Battle At The Beach - The New Hampshire State Championship Chili Cookoff - is certain to bring the heat. We will also have activities such as children’s games, free public swimming, local vendor booths and entertainment

THIS EVENT IS A QUALIFIER FOR THE 2026 SEASON!

You must be an ICS Member to compete. Entry fees are separate per category (i.e. Red, Homestyle, Verde, etc.) and will be collected independently by the Cook-off Organizer. Please contact the organizer (info at top) for more information.

• 10x10 space provided.
• Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs and supplies.
• No electricity provided
• The Cookoff Organizer will send each registered cook a welcome packet upon registration for the event. 

All contestants must prepare TWO gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC) in addition to entry fees or FOUR gallons of People's Choice chili in lieu of entry fees in all categories.

Please note that the # of gallons of PC is per contestant not per category
